Bean-to-bar

It all starts with a bean.

Grown in tropical soil, hand-harvested from the pod, fermented, dried, and shipped halfway across the world before it reaches us here in Aotearoa.

At Valura, we currently work with five different origin of beans from Madagascar, Uganda, Vanuatu, the Philippines and Haïti. Every origin has its own personality, its own flavour fingerprint — and we think that's worth celebrating. The bean is always the star of the show.
